The experienced staff at 1st Priority are skilled in a range of therapeutic modalities. All of our staff hold degrees, licenses, and certifications in their areas of speciality. Our team works collaboratively to ensure that the needs of our clients are fully met.


Meet the 1st Priority Team

Executive Director

Our Executive Director holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Elon University. The Executive Director has 15 years of mastery that has included certification, training, and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Intervention, Treatment Accountability for Safer Communities Case Management, Alcohol and Drug Abuse counseling, Community Intervention, Cognitive Moral Reconation Therapy, and many more domains on the executive level.

Clinical Director

Our Clinical Director holds a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work with a School Social Work Specialization, and active full licensure in Kentucky,Utah, and Arizona. The Clinical Director is also certified as a school social worker with the KY Education Professional Standards Board. Our Clinical Director has done direct practice in many social work settings including residential, school-based, in-office, in-home, intensive outpatient crisis services, crisis stabilization unit, and previously conducted investigations for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. In addition to providing supervision and leadership to our entire team, our Clinical Director specializes in crisis intervention, anxiety, and helping individuals heal from trauma.

  • Outpatient Therapist

    Our Outpatient Therapist is an LPC-A and is a graduate of Hanover college with a Bachelors in Psychology, as well as a Masters in Mental Health Counseling obtained from University of Louisville. The Outpatient therapist is skilled in behavioral therapy and modification in individual and group settings. Our Outpatient Therapist has experience as a Mental Health Associate, Youth Counseling, Residential Counseling, School Based Counseling, ECE Instruction, and Substance Abuse Counseling.

  • Outpatient Therapist

    Our Outpatient Therapist is an LPC-A with a Bachelors degree from Kentucky State University in Criminal Justice, a Masters Degree in School Guidance Counseling from Spalding University, and two Masters Degrees from University of the Cumberlands in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and Addition Counseling. The Outpatient Therapist holds a school counselor certification (EPSB Certified/Rank I), and is a Healthy Relationships (CHAMPS) Group Facilitator. Our Outpatient Therapist specializes in providing services for youth and young adults..

Outpatient Therapist

The Outpatient Therapist obtained a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville. Our Outpatient Therapist is a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in individual, group, and couples therapy; dual diagnosis; crisis intervention; and trauma-informed practice. The outpatient Therapist skills include diagnosing mental health disorders; psychopathology; psychiatric medications; substance use disorder treatment; social, cultural, and environmental factors influencing mental disorders and treatment; ethical boundaries; domestic violence; financial literacy; child abuse/neglect; pervasive developmental disorders; and grant writing. Additional abilities include leadership; team building; verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; organization; accuracy; flexibility; research; and interfacing with various agencies to meet client needs. 

Outpatient Therapist

The Outpatient Therapist obtained a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California, as well as a Masters Degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. Our Outpatient Therapist is a fully Licensed Clinical Social worker in Kentucky and Indiana, and is CANS certified. The Outpatient Therapist is experienced in compliance, telehealth services, crisis intervention, treatment supervision, and providing supervision to associate level providers. Our Outpatient Therapist excels in working with teens, and families, providing services that are innovative, and impactful.

  • Outpatient Therapist

    Our Outpatient Therapist is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a degree in Psychology. The outpatient Therapist went on to obtain a Masters of Science from Kent School of Social Work, and completed a post masters program in Marriage and Family Therapy. The Outpatient Therapist is an accomplished and fully licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience in mental health. The Outpatient Therapist is an expert in rapidly assessing mental health and substance abuse, providing advanced emergency psychiatric services, and can effectively lead large groups with proficiency. With skills in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and recovery dynamics, our Outpatient Therapist is also level II certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing . Our outpatient therapist can independently manage complex cases and provide practice level services from assessment, to disposition.

  • Outpatient Therapist

    Our Outpatient Therapist obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Louisville; and continued on to obtain a Masters of Social Work from Campbellsville University. The Outpatient Therapist is skilled in social work, case management, palliative care, community service and outreach coordination, conflict management, crisis intervention, coaching and counseling, addiction counseling, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy. The Outpatient Therapist currently works with adults, families, and seniors providing services both in-person, and virtually. Our Outpatient Therapist recently passed the state exam to obtain status as a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Community Support & Certified Social Worker

  • Our Community Support & Certified Social Worker is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work, and a Masters in Social Work-Advanced Generalist obtained from Campbellsville University. The Community Support & Certified Social Worker utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy as a tool to promote changed behavior and decrease negative thinking patterns. Our Community Support & Certified Social Worker is experienced in working with a wide range of issues such as trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, and has led focus-driven therapeutic groups as well as provided extensive services to children and youth. Our Community Support & Certified Social Worker specializes in providing services that expand beyond the traditional office setting to specifically reach youth and young adults in environments where they feel most comfortable. As our longest tenured team member, our Community Support & Certified Social Worker provides support to the entire team, and serves as our in house grief counselor.
